Organization setup
Your organization brings together the homes or centres you run, the people working with you, and the records used to provide care. Organization setup is where you establish the shared details and responsibilities behind that work.
Shared setup and everyday work
Section titled “Shared setup and everyday work”Organization Settings holds shared details such as the organization name, office email, logo, how long notifications are kept, Owners and roles. It also contains setup for locations, admissions, documents and billing.
The main portal is where your team uses that setup: maintaining enrollments, recording attendance, working with staff and documents, and preparing bills. For example, you set up a program and its groups before using them in an application or enrollment.
Know which details belong where
Section titled “Know which details belong where”- Organization details identify the service you run. Your office email and logo belong here; your own phone number and photo belong in My Profile.
- Owners have broad responsibility for the organization. The Primary Owner manages the Owner roster and can transfer that responsibility.
- Roles describe the jobs in your organization: what holders can do, whether they work on a Site’s team and which notifications they can receive. Roles are defined under Organization Settings → Access → Roles & Permissions and assigned from each staff member’s profile. See Roles and access.
- A site is a home or centre where care happens. One organization can have several sites, each with its own care arrangements.
Your organization’s Subscription concerns its use of AmalynCare. Family tuition and invoices belong to the separate billing workflow.
Put the pieces in place
Section titled “Put the pieces in place”Start with organization details, then roles, staff, locations and programs, and finally admissions, documents and billing. For a home-based site, create the Home Operator’s staff record and a role with home operation before creating the site. Follow Set up your organization for the full sequence and links to each task.
