Find the people and daily work at a site
Use Site Operations → Sites when you want to work with a particular home or centre. Open the location to see Site Operations.
This page brings together a site’s current counts and links to its day-to-day work. It is a useful starting point when you know the location but are not sure which record to open next.
Start with the site name
Section titled “Start with the site name”Check the location heading before following a link. Similar group names or the same staff member can appear at more than one site.
The summary cards help you see the site’s classrooms, live groups and enrollment activity. Use the relevant links to open the underlying records when you need names and details.
Find children and family contacts
Section titled “Find children and family contacts”Use Admissions for the children’s records and enrollments. An enrollment tells you which site and group the child attends and on which dates.
Parent, emergency and pickup details belong to the child’s family/contact records. A staff directory entry does not substitute for an authorized pickup contact.
Work with children, parents and contacts.
Find the team
Section titled “Find the team”The site’s Details section lists its team, grouped by role, and separately the staff who have access to the site without being on its team. A home also has a Home Operator section naming the person who operates it. Use Staff → Staff Directory for the wider organization directory and staff administration.
The team follows each person’s roles. Check the role name rather than assuming that every person attached to a home is its operator.
Open the right activity
Section titled “Open the right activity”The site page includes links to daily work, subject to your access. Check the date and site on the destination page.
- Check children in and out or record an absence.
- Complete a site inspection.
- Keep records of people on the premises.
- Review supplies running low through Inventory.
Opening documents from a record keeps that record in context. This is useful when you want the material filed for one location rather than the organization-wide document list.
If a site or child is missing, check your filters and your access.
